Meet Joff
Joff Eaton, long recognised as a world-renowned and acclaimed Cruise Director, built a distinguished career across three major cruise lines, including eighteen notable years with Royal Caribbean International. Recognised for his professionalism, strategic leadership, and exceptional ability to elevate every guest experience, Joff worked globally, delivering refined entertainment programmes and consistently high service standards. His leadership defined by clarity, composure, and a strong performance ethos created thousands of memorable moments for millions of guests and established him as one of the cruise industry's most respected and trusted figures.
His career highlights include: serving as Start-up Cruise Director Anthem of the Seas (2015) and Ovation of the Seas (2016), launch Cruise Director for largest ship in the Southern Hemisphere (2017) and Alaska (2019), and Cruise Director for The Ultimate World Cruise, Royal Caribbean's first nine-month global voyage (2023/24). In addition his 'presenter-training' programmes developed emerging hosts and established professionals, creating engaging on-stage experiences, communication and delivery.
Between contract assignments, Joff stays in constant demand, freelancing as a TX rehearsal presenter at ITV across Good Morning Britain and This Morning. He also coaches presenters and stage hosts, and collaborates with headliner acts to refine onstage content, strengthen audience connection, and elevate overall performance.
Having recently transitioned ashore, Joff now applies his expertise as a freelance consultant supporting organisations in strengthening their entertainment strategies, optimising guest-experience delivery, and developing confident, effective onstage communication for presenters and stage professionals. He collaborates with entertainment brands, travel companies, and corporate clients, providing professional presenter coaching, talent support, creative direction, and operational insight designed to elevate teams, transform live experiences, and drive revenue growth.
